Soundra Ann Griner Ray

Soundra Ann Griner Ray, 73, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, on Tybee Island.  She was born July 18, 1950, in Savannah, GA to John and Margie Griner.  Sandi worked for the Chatham County Tax Commissioner’s office for over 25 years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Ray, III.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles R. Ray, Jr., son, Kevin Ray, and daughter, Ashleigh Ray.  Also surviving is her brother, John Griner.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel.

A Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
